Missing Pieces

At life’s end, we’re buried

Whole yet incomplete

We leave bits of ourselves

Hearts and souls

With those we’ve loved

Hoping we fit into their puzzles

In the same way we wove

Them into our tapestries

Shrouds of memories

Faded over time

Yet unforgotten.
